Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  How much does it cost?
Both reports include a highly detailed analysis of your health (
sample).  The Full Report includes a review by a real doctor of the findings by The Analyst as well as points that you raise in your notes.

Q:  How do I know it's worth it?
A:  Everyone, healthy or not, will learn a great deal from their report.  By looking at the
sample (a real report that was sent out, with just the name changed), you can decide whether you would like one.  Your report would of course be based entirely on your responses and notes.  Click here to see what others have said.

Q:  How are you different from any other service?
A:  There are a few other companies offering 'diagnosis' systems, and some of them are even free.  The Analyst is fundamentally different to all of them in at least one of the following ways:

  • The Analyst looks at health from a natural - naturopathic - point of view.  Allopathic treatments are mentioned only in cases where there simply is no effective alternative treatment.
  • Free systems are invariably those offered by companies trying to sell you their product(s).  A few questions are asked and you receive a recommendation for what to buy.  The Analyst is not an advertizing gimmick: you receive impartial advice, even about conditions that no product will cure.
  • Most systems lack depth: few ask more than 100 questions.  This is clearly insufficient to cover the hundreds of signs and symptoms that people can and do have.
  • Some systems start by asking you "What symptoms do you have?", assuming that you know exactly what qualifies as a symptom, and that all symptoms are obvious to you.  The Analyst makes no such assumptions: you will be asked all manner of unusual questions because, taken together, these small pieces of information make up the complex puzzle that is your current state of health.

As a simple example, would you mention to your doctor that you have small bumps on the backs of your arms, or that you have cracked callouses on your heels? (These are both symptoms of vitamin A deficiency.)

Q:  I'm concerned about giving out personal information.
A:  We understand that sending personal information into the electronic ether can be of some concern.  There is no need to provide us with a real name, nor do we need any contact information besides your e-mail address, which can be anonymous - for example a Yahoo address. In other words, we do not have to have any idea of who you are.

Q:  Can I see what the questionnaire looks like?

Q:  But there are so many questions!
A:  The human body is extremely complex; there are thousands of possible conditions and hundreds of related signs and symptoms.  The Analyst does far more than simply connect a few obvious symptoms to a few common conditions.

Q:  What types of problem can The Analyst indicate?
Click here to see some of the more common conditions that are dealt with.  Your report will include up-to-date information not only on what we uncover but also about conditions already known to you.

Q:  Am I being evaluated by a doctor or a computer?
A:  Both.  The Analyst is a computer system that combines your responses to the questionnaire with its database to produce a diagnosis.  One of our doctors reads the additional notes that you have entered and makes any necessary adjustments based on this additional information.

Q:  What do the results look like?

Q:  Whom do I contact if I have questions about my report?
A:  The purpose of this report is to guide you with its diagnostic suggestions into selecting the correct remedies.  Although we are at this time unable to answer individual questions, we do provide a list of recommended naturopaths by region.

Q:  Whom do I contact if I have problems with the web site?
